The Vision of SIM Niger

By faith, we see a church holy and mature in Christ which is transforming Nigerien

society and beyond.

The Purpose of SIM Niger

To glorify God by planting, strengthening and partnering with the Church in Niger.

Primary Aims

These are objectives we believe are at the core of what we do in Niger and in which all members are involved.

1. Prayer and Worship

Fervent and intercessory prayer together with biblically-based worship will lead to revival and transformation (in our personal lives and in the life of the Nigerien Church).

2. Develop Personal and Working Relationships within and with our SIM-Related Churches

Collaboration with the church in Niger will strengthen God’s chosen instrument for transforming society.

Everything that SIM Niger does that has lasting value is done in the context of relationships. Anything that strengthens our relationships (with God, with the Church, within SIM, with other missions and in the community) will ultimately increase our effectiveness.

3. Disciplemaking

Disciplemaking among all peoples of the earth is at the heart of Christ’s command and every believer has a role to play in this endeavor (Matt. 28:19-20).

We understand disciplemaking as:
- leading people to a relationship with Jesus Christ (evangelism).
- helping them to grow in knowledge, grace and effective service (discipleship).
- helping to establish healthy, loving churches (church planting).
